Bob is a Registered Architect and partner in the firm of Boultinghouse Simpson & Assoc., Inc. located inMcAllen.   He received his BArch degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975.  He has twice been President of the LRGV Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, former President and current board member of McAllen South Rotary Club, former President of the LRGV Chapter of Coastal Conservation Association of Texas, former Director of McAllen Chamber of Commerce, former Chairman of  the Texas Tropics Nature Festival, former President of the Valley Land Fund, current Trustee and Elder of First Presbyterian Church McAllen, current Board Member of the Museum of South Texas History,  and current board member of the City of McAllen’s Quinta Mazatlan Citizen Advisory Board.   Having raised three beautiful adopted daughters, he and his wife Lita are now empty nesters.  His favorite recreational activities are wildlife photography, bird watching, fly-fishing, and wildlife management.
